School Council

The school council is an elected body of children from across the school.

Every September children create campaign posters in the hope that they will be their elected class representatives (we have two representatives per class).  An election is then held and a school council is created.

Year 6 children take on the roles of chair and vice chair as well as other positions as secretary and events organisers - again these are elected posts.  All year 6 children are invited to join school council.

School council organise fundraising events throughout the year for charities such as Children in Need and Red nose day.  As well as fundraising work school council complete projects for the whole school; this year, so far, these have included raising funds for Ukraine and working with the PTFA to purchase new playground toys, as well as organise a cinema night.
